What a Gun Trust Does

NFA items (suppressors, short-barreled rifles, etc.): a trust allows multiple named trustees to lawfully possess and use the items, rather than restricting possession to one individual.
Succession without accidental felonies: when you die, your executor can’t simply hand a firearm to any heir. A gun trust gives your trustee clear, lawful instructions, including making sure no firearm passes to someone prohibited from possessing it.
Privacy and continuity: trust-owned firearms pass outside probate, keeping your collection out of public court records.
